Dr. Assad Qureshi has authored leading research papers in the most prestigious Orthopedic journals. He published as a first author in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (American), the highest impact factor journal in Orthopedics, whilst still a resident. He has published works in the European Spine Journal, and the Journal of Hand Surgery and Injury (American). His research has been awarded numerous prizes including:

Educational Contributions
Dr. Qureshi was an invited speaker for the Docmatter International webinar on Pediatric Hip Disorders alongside distinguished international speakers from USA, Canada, and the UK. He has supervised three BMedSci students at the University of Nottingham and Birmingham University. One of his students was awarded a first-class degree for his project thesis as well as being awarded the best paper prize in a national conference. Dr. Qureshi has been an invited examiner for the Chesterfield, Sheffield, and Derby clinical examination course and the Sherwood FRCS course. He has been a guest lecturer for the MCh (Orthopaedics) degree qualification from the University of Dundee.

Dr. Qureshi is exclusively British trained. He was born in London and studied Medicine there. His qualifications have all been awarded by prestigious United Kingdom institutions and he is one of the most highly qualified Orthopedic Surgeons in the world.

Dr. Qureshi completed his basic and higher surgical training in the East Midlands. He was successfully appointed as the National Fellow at Sheffield Children’s Hospital in Pediatric Orthopedics. The National Fellowship is the flagship fellowship for Pediatric Orthopedics since its inception as the first dedicated fellowship for Pediatric Orthopedics in the United Kingdom. Dr. Qureshi trained under the internationally renowned faculty to develop advanced skills in treating complex Pediatric Orthopedic conditions.
After completing the National fellowship, Dr. Qureshi was appointed as a Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester – the first Consultant appointment solely dedicated to Pediatric Orthopedics. He went on to serve as Clinical Lead for Pediatric Orthopedics setting up a Tertiary referral center for complex pediatric orthopedics serving a population of over 1.5 million across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. He setup the first one stop baby hip dysplasia clinic and Ponseti clinic in Leicestershire and introduced single stage hip reconstruction for the management of late presenting hip dysplasia. He was a Faculty member for the regional Gait analysis multi disciplinary team meeting in Royal Derby Hospital and set the trend for Single event multi-level surgery for Cerebral Palsy.
